The Eye of Horus is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, royal power and good health. Ancient Egyptian sailors would frequently paint the symbol on the bow of their vessel to ensure safe sea travel.
Carved and sanded smooth reclaimed MDF is painted Royal Blue and highlighted with a slightly distressed faux gold leaf. There are two handmade copper D rings on the reverse of the mirror and a soldered brass wire so it is ready to hang in your home. Made from reclaimed materials.
The mirror measures approx. 23" (590mm) wide, 18.5" (470mm) high and is 1.25" (32mm) thick. The visible mirror glass is 14" (360mm) wide. 6" (150mm) high.
This mirror weighs 5lb (2.4kg) and will be well packed for shipping.
